BAMS course is five years duration with one year internship at relevant hospital and comprise subjects of Sharir Rachana (Anatomy), Sharir Kriya (Physiology), Pran Rasayan (Biochemistry), Ayurvedic Moulic Siddhanta (Basic Principles of Ayurveda), Dravyaguna (Pharmacology & Pharmacognosy), Rognidan & Anujib (Pathology & Microbiology), Rasa Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (Pharmacy & Pharmaceutics), Swasthavritta (Community Medicine ), Agad Tantra & Medical Ayen (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology), Kayachikitsa (Medicine & allied subjects), Prasuti and Stri Roga (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Kaumarbhrittya (Paediatrics), Shalya (Surgery) and Shalakya (EENT). There are three professional examinations during the BAMS course and marks distribution and teaching hours is follows:
